COVID-19 Bill Lee issues Executive Order 14 declaring A “STATE of EMERGENCY

On March 12, 2020 Tn Gov Bill Lee issued Executive Order 14 declaring A “STATE of EMERGENCY” to facilitate the treatment and containment of COVID-19.

We (Sequatchie County) will do our part to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our county. Nothing is more important than keeping out sitizens healthy and safe.

We are working closely with Federal, State and Local officials to navigate through these uncharted waters.

In an effort to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19, all of Sequatchie County Schools will close from Monday, March 16th through March 28th.

All Sequatchie County Offices will be closed to the public beginning Tuesday, March 17th – March 28th, 2020, along with all Public meetings and gatherings.

All Emergency Services (Law Enforcement, Fire, Rescue, ER, 911) and our Sanitation collection site will remain open.

If you need to reach a specific county office you can call, email or text. County employees will continue to work remotely or in office.

The county will re-access on a week to week basis after March 28th.
